Martin $ky was born and raised in Chicago,Illinois. $ky attended Lincoln Park High School, where his talent for music truly became apparent, usually passing time with his friends creating rap songs and producing beats to go alongside them. After High School, $ky continued creating music and posting it on sites such as SoundCloud, where he hopes that someone will be able to listen to it and identify with his predominantly rap music in some way. Years later $ky released his first electronic instrumental track that seemed to seep into the genre of Dance music, and he soon found that people seemed to enjoy this track more than his previous rap tracks, therefore, he began producing more and more. As of right now $ky has stuck to creating dreamy, electronic, dance instrumentals from his bedroom in his apartment in Chicago; working on the basis that music is a personal medium and he is happy to create music for people to feel connected to in the moment.
